Artist's Description

The monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus) is a milkweed butterfly and is recognized by its iconic orange and black pattern. The eastern North American monarch population is notable for its multigenerational southward late summer/autumn migration from the United States and southern Canada to Mexico, covering thousands of miles. The western North American population of monarchs west of the Rocky Mountains most often migrate to sites in California but have been found in overwintering Mexico sites.Monarchs were transported to the international space station and were bred there.

About Dawn Gari

Dawn Gari

As an artist I have worked in most artist mediums, but specialize in clay, glass, print making and etchings. My first experience with photography was a class I had taken in college. My husband.got me back into photography, because I would go with him and help out on different photo shoots. Since then we joined a local photography club, and have been able to use my background in other forms of art to take the images from my head and transfer the thoughts into the finished prints in my gallery. I you enjoy the images and find one you want for your home or office, Thank You!. WATERMARKS WILL NOT APPEAR ON PRINTS.
