Artist's Description

The Great Smoky Mountains rise along the Tennessee North Carolina border in the southeastern United States. They are a subrange of the Appalachian Mountains, and are part of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Sometimes called the Smoky Mountains and the name is commonly shortened to the Smokies. Along with a Biosphere reserve, the Great Smokies have been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The U.S. National Park Service preserves and maintains 78 structures within the national park that were once part of the numerous small Appalachian communities scattered throughout the range's river valleys and coves. The park contains five historic districts and nine individual listings on the National Register of Historic Places. About Dawn Gari

Dawn Gari

As an artist I have worked in most artist mediums, but specialize in clay, glass, print making and etchings. My first experience with photography was a class I had taken in college. My husband.got me back into photography, because I would go with him and help out on different photo shoots. Since then we joined a local photography club, and have been able to use my background in other forms of art to take the images from my head and transfer the thoughts into the finished prints in my gallery. I you enjoy the images and find one you want for your home or office, Thank You!. WATERMARKS WILL NOT APPEAR ON PRINTS.
